Tips for a professional CV photo
Center your face
Leave a small amount of space above your head and make sure your eyes sit roughly in the upper third of the frame.
Use a plain background
A solid white, light gray, or neutral background reads as more professional than a busy or outdoor setting.
Crop at the shoulders
For CV and LinkedIn, crop just below the shoulders. Avoid cropping at the neck or cutting off the top of your head.
